Patorbit is committed to operating with integrity and meeting the security, privacy, and data protection standards our users expect.
1.Data Protection
We aim to align our practices with widely recognized data protection frameworks, including the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We are not currently certified or audited against any framework — this document is under active development as we formalize our compliance program.
2.Security Standards
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS); data at rest is encrypted by our database and hosting providers.
- Role-based access controls and least-privilege principles.
- Regular security reviews and incident response procedures.
3.Certifications & Standards
Patorbit currently holds no certifications — no SOC 2, no ISO 27001, and no completed third-party audits. We are not currently working toward SOC 2. If and when a certification is achieved, we will publish the details here.
4.Governance & Transparency
We maintain documented policies for data retention, access, and deletion. Our privacy and terms pages describe your rights, and our security page details platform protections.
